S.A.B.B. Sociedad Anónima (the continuance of S. A. BAUTISTA BURIASCO e HIJOS Ltda.) started, in year 1951, the manufacturing of railway wagons in Argentina, thus becoming the pioneering company and leader of the country in its matter and one of the main suppliers of railway stock and its components.

Until nowadays, nearly 10,000 freight wagons of diverse features and gauges have been manufactured, upon the production base of an own engineering development fulfilling Ferrocarriles Argentinos and AAR (Association of American Raildoads) standards. Additionally, 4,000 wagons have been repaired, rebuilt or modified up to conditions of new ones, and thousands of welded plate bogies, according to AAR standards, have been manufactured.

S.A.B.B. S. A. has today a 30,000 roofed sq. m. manufacturing plant, located at the town of María Juana, Santa Fe Province, with equipment and infrastructure of a heavy metallurgical industry, being able besides to develop serial productions in optimal operative conditions.
